2007-04-18 Awarded for the third time in consecutive years Innovationspreis 2007 for all GSD modules Stockheim Neukenroth, 18 April 2007. For the third year running, GSD Software was awarded the ITK innovations prize on 16 April 2007 by Initiative Mittelstand. With over 1,000 applicants, the jury admittedly found it particularly hard this time "due to the highest number of participants so far" and the "high quality of the submitted products." In the past, individual GSD modules had been awarded the coveted prize. The 2007 jury was convinced from the start about the entire product range. Once again the modules, DOCUframe® in the category “DMS - document management solutions”; ERPframe® for “ERP - enterprise resource planning”; DATAframe® in the category “Business Intelligence”; and FIBUframe® for “Financial and Accounting Systems”, were awarded the prize. The jury evaluated GSD Software as an “innovative product” which scored top marks because of its flexibility. This flexibility is thanks to the specially designed development environment, based on a standard programming language, which allows programs to be adapted very quickly and precisely to the most diverse industries and needs. Since the user gets the complete software for management from one source, he doesn’t need difficult-to-maintain individual IT systems. The integrated GSD solution, with its coordinated software modules, instead handles work more efficiently and optimises processes, in order to make the enterprise even more efficient. With this award, GSD Software proves once more its status as a future-safe communications platform. The ITK Innovationspreis has been awarded at the CeBIT by Initiative Mittelstand since 2004 and GSD Software has been among the recipients every year since 2005. An independent jury of experts and ITK editors from Initiative Mittelstand, Pressebox® and it-Medien gives the award particularly to enterprises who offer innovative products, services and solutions that are especially useful for medium-sized enterprises.
