GSD Software mbH Among the Innovative Top 100

GSD Software mbH Among the Innovative Top 100 Mentor Lothar Spaeth honours IT specialists from Franconia

GSD Software mbH of Stockheim-Neukenroth receives the Top 100 quality seal for its outstanding innovative services. The seal is given as a part of the nationwide comparison study of the same name. In the study, Professor Dr. Nikolaus Franke from the School for Economics in Vienna examined the innovation management of medium-sized enterprises: The hundred best – including GSD Software - are the holders of the Top 100 2006 quality seal. Mentor Lothar Spaeth presented the renowned honour on 23 June at the summit of the Top Innovators on the Zugspitze.

In his laudation, Lothar Spaeth summed up: “The Top 100 have no fear of excellency. Skillfully they navigate the interaction of science and market, are economically successful with it and establish jobs through their constant striving for innovation. The devotion of the Top 100 feeds the growth of Germany.”

GSD Software mbH raises the bar in terms of functionality and usability of software solutions. Highest priority: to provide the customer with holistic, custom-made solutions, ready in the fastest possible time. New applications, like document management systems, are, first of all, to make work easier and to save money. An introduction time of eight months slows the customer down unnecessarily. At GSD Software, however, through the use of its own programming language, the IT specialists from Franconia are able to adapt the complete enterprise control to the respective industry needs within a few weeks. So too with "DOCUframe", the document management solution, which can be tailored quickly to the needs of the customer and is ideally suited for an enterprise’s knowledge management.

Professor Franke examines five central areas of innovation management: market success, the innovation climate, the innovative process and organisation,
innovation-stimulating senior management as well as innovation marketing.

On the basis of a standardised procedure, Professor Dr. Nikolaus Franke annually determines the one hundred most innovative participants in the Top 100 study. From about 1,750 interested enterprises from across the country, 200 participants faced the challenge. The enterprises that made the cut into the exclusive circle are shown online at www.top100.de as well as in the book of the project “Top 100 2006 - Ausgezeichnete Innovatoren im deutschen Mittelstand” (Exceptional Innovators in Medium-sized German Enterprises).
