2007-03-16GSD Software invites you to the “leading business event”
Under the slogan, “The leading business event for the digital world”, CeBIT opened its gates at the fairgrounds in Hanover on the 15th of March.Following the exhibition emphasis “Business Processes”, GSD Software will present innovative IT solutions for complete, integrated enterprise communications to the international public in Hall 5, Booth E26 until 21 March.
That vision can become reality, regardless of location, is proven in an impressive way by the successful history of this upper-Frankonian IT firm. From the beginning, the goal of the firm’s founders, Hans Rebhan and Michael Sterzl, was to reduce separate, isolated solutions and instead to develop a business software product that offers comprehensive economical solutions from one source. The system should be flexible - so it can react quickly to the needs of the most diverse industries and localised needs - and should optimise internal process in such a way that the enterprises regain valuable work time by more efficient operational sequences – in order to save cash and remain competitive.
Today, not even 20 years later, GSD Software ranks among the prominent providers of document management (DMS), archiving systems and ERP software solutions in Germany. More than 35,000 users at home and abroad are already using the unique communications platform which, thanks to its own programming language, is able to adapt quickly and flexibly to the most unique demands. This zeal for innovation has already been honoured multiple times by jurors who awarded the coveted Innovationspreis from Initiative Mittelstand and GSD Software was also chosen in 2006 to be among the "TOP 100" of the most innovative medium-sized enterprises.
After GSD Software registered 2006 as an absolute record year, a presence at CeBIT was never a point of discussion, according to Marketing and Sales Director Michael Funk before the exhibition. Quite the contrary: in 2007, an even larger network of competent selling partners can be presented, which will continue to grow Europe-wide. Following partnerships in Austria, Sweden and Switzerland, the first official co-operative in Poland was forged in December 2006.
Even with its worldwide presence, GSD Software is always aware of its roots. According to Managing Director Hans Rebhan, locating the company’s headquarters in upper-Franconia’s Stockheim was never in doubt. One point that shows the commitment to the location is the creation of an increasing number of new jobs. Although it is not always easy to attract highly-qualified staff into the "delightfully scenic but infrastructurally-challenged region", says Rebhan, the enterprise continues to grow its staff right in the center of Germany. The goal is to maintain the steady and solid growth and to exhibit proudly at leading international exhibitions like CeBIT in the future.
